Only a couple of adapters are linked to the laptop. Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Visual Adapter and Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface.

WLAN isn't listed at all. Only Bluetooth and Ethernet are available, but nothing can be activated.

It seems the laptop might not have an active display. Pressing the "Airplane mode" button on your desktop will put it into that state. For more details, refer to page 46 of the manual at the provided link.
