Hello everyone, welcome! I'm just wrapping up my first PC build and need some help. My setup includes an MSI B550 Tomahawk Ryzen 5600X, ASUS DUAL EVO OC RTX 2060, 4x8GB of Kingston Fury RAM, Samsung 970 EVO NVMe 1TB SSD (the only storage I have planned), and a BIOS that shows everything correctly. After some initial problems getting the RAM in, everything seemed fine—BIOS recognized all components. The main issue now is installing Windows 10; the installer can't find the Samsung 970 EVO I wanted to use. I've tried updating the BIOS, set storage mode to AHCI (not RAID), ran an NVMe self-test which reported no issues, and even checked the EZ debug LED on the motherboard, which stays red during boot except when installing Windows. I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's causing the problem.

Additionally, my two RAM kits are from different sets but match in capacity, speed, and latency—only the RGB lighting differs. I'm not sure if this affects the installation. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on these points. Thanks for your help!

You generated your bootable USB by downloading the ISO file separately, using RUFUS to flash it with the correct settings, ensuring GPT was chosen, and then retrying the boot. Additionally, you adjusted the motherboard boot options to disable CSM/legacy mode.

Hi there, thanks for your message. I followed your instructions and tried again using a new ISO file. It looks like the one on your USB might have been outdated. Appreciate your patience!
