Hello, I encountered an issue with my Windows 10 machine recently. When trying to launch a game, the system would crash, while everything worked normally elsewhere. I’ve already reset and reinstalled drivers after uninstalling the old NVIDIA ones and installing the new graphics card. Additionally, I just upgraded my GPU from an NVIDIA GTX 970 to an AMD Radeon 7600. All previous NVIDIA drivers were removed post-installation, and my BIOS was updated to the latest version. The crashes involve both screens going black and then shutting down repeatedly, restarting before turning off completely. Hardware includes a CPU from AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, a GPU from AMD Radeon 7600, a PSU from Corsair CX 750, a Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB main drive.

It might be the power supply unit. Its age could be a factor. Games known to crash often include titles like "Braid," "Portal," and "Dark Souls."

It's about four or five years old. The game I've been playing lately where this often happens is Marvel Rivals.

I concur. When the PC suddenly drops power while under stress, it usually means the PSU has triggered OCP protection or is failing due to wear and tear.

Yes, a 750W should work for your hardware.

Consider testing with a benchmark using heaven then furmark. Still experiencing crashes? Have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the game? Are the games stored on the SSD, or is there another drive they're installed on?

I’ll run a benchmark to check its performance. I haven’t reinstalled the game yet, but I’ll do that too. It’s saved on my primary SSD.

This setting will force the GPU to work at its highest capacity for optimal power usage.
