Observed that many program title bars appear overly large. StartAllBack is present, but it doesn’t offer a way to adjust its size.

The entire title bar width should be minimized. Check the approach in that link.

It seems the corner icons remain oversized even after your attempt.

I noticed you experimented with Winaero Tweaker inside your VM. Title bar height adjusted to 10 and font size set to 8 in WinAero Tweaker. The display appeared as 2560x1440 in fullscreen mode. I should note I don’t run daily backups. You just explored things out of curiosity.

From what I can see quickly (and it’s probably just late at night), Windows seems to automatically tweak the height depending on the font size of the title. Other factors like tab width or search box size might also play a role. The standard default is Segoe UI size 9. In WinAero Tweaker, the relevant settings are CaptionHeight and SmCaptionHeight, along with CaptionFont if you’ve adjusted the font. After increasing the font size to 3 in Tweaker and manually setting those registry values to -30, the display appears lower than the minimum setting in Tweaker.

Adjusted the size to 100%, yet the corner symbols remained larger than before.

The issue could stem from the latest 11 Insider Dev release.

Did you mean the title bar font? You should adjust it via the registry using its hex value. It’s easier with WinAero Tweaker, which offers a graphical interface. If you need the size below 8, just set a lower number manually—like 3 in this case.

I believe you previously provided the answer, though the elevenforum solution was slightly quicker to apply. That’s why I labeled my own entry as a solution. Anyway, thanks for assisting in locating the fix! WinAero Tweaker seems like a handy resource.

Verified – the window title bar height setting was the issue. The default value is 22, matching the screenshot.
