The Win 11 File Explorer is lagging and the picture previews are taking a long time to load.
I am having trouble opening the newest Windows 11 because there are so many big files in my picture folders. I set up a special view that shows big pictures and sorts them by when they were added, but now whenever I open a folder, a little progress bar shows up at the top of Explorer. This stops me from seeing all the thumbnails as I scroll down. It seems like the pictures only get made for one page at a time, so if I keep scrolling, it starts over again. This makes using Explorer really hard. Even though each folder has thousands of images and they never change much, Win11 should make them ready to see instantly without waiting. I think there is a setting about saving pictures in the system that could help this problem. I have three big drives full of picture folders, but splitting them all up isn't an option for me. Thanks for any advice!
While I made very little changes, the images don't save well and slow things down. It might help to use some special software to manage files better instead.
