Don't worry about it, once you see the preview you'll receive a beta version that will be available for a while longer. In short, it won't be ready for Windows 10 anytime soon.

That would have been clearer. Instead of vague statements, a direct message like "Release dates are unpredictable, so we can't confirm an ETA for the end of the preview" would help.

I thought the preview would finish once Windows 10 was fully released, since that’s what I anticipated would occur.
