I have a fast Wi-Fi connection, no issues with lag during gameplay. However, downloading games causes a sudden drop in speed, making it feel like the connection freezes completely. I've tried various solutions—using an Ethernet cable, adjusting DNS settings—but nothing improves the performance. Usually, a file download works smoothly for about five seconds before it starts downloading. I've attached a speed test result and my download attempt for your reference. Please let me know how to help.

It seems you're checking if your QoS settings affect download performance, especially when using mobile data versus a wired connection.

It seems you're referring to a program that attempts to enhance your internet connection. Unfortunately, without knowing the specific software, I can't provide further details.

I don’t have any connections related to your Wi-Fi network. You can share an image of the apps you’ve installed for better understanding.

I understand ASUS offers software that may lead to issues, though I’m not sure what it’s named.

You're not using an ASUS board, are you? I'm set with a GA-Z170M-D3H right now.
