I can't find the place to post this. It looks like something goes wrong on the internet because lots of websites with videos won't load. My speed test gets perfect A+ scores everywhere else, so it doesn't seem related to my connection speed. I tried three different browsers and still had problems. I took out Bitdefender but it didn't help. On many sites, the video spins in a circle forever or just freezes if it starts loading at all. I thought this might be normal, but what else can I try? My home internet works great, and regular websites load fine too. The main trouble comes from news aggregation sites. These problems happen even on my built-up Home Windows 11 computer with the Edge browser (or Firefox sometimes). It's a cable modem over Ethernet connection.

Turn off IPv6 on your computer. It's just a setting in your network card.

Use Chrome, turn off hardware acceleration under Settings, and that might work.

This happens to every browser too. I turned off an iPV6 option under my network settings, then tested it out. Sorry if you didn't get that info before.

A side note here. There has been a very strong/bad (lol, Strongbad) bit of solar activity and flares over the past several weeks. In addition to this aspect, soaring temperatures across the nation to boot. The solar activity causes various issues on its own, and the heat reduces the effectiveness of air conditioning in the server and equipment rooms, particularly for small remote sites. My own internet has been suffering on and off as a result. Not to say the above are the total causation of your internet woes, but they sure aren't helping mine....

Nothing wrong with whatever browsers I run: firefox, chrome, and vivaldi all work just fine.
