I'm working on assembling my initial PC after saving for some time. I've done a lot of research and am confident I haven't caused any damage. But whenever I attempt to start the computer using an HDMI connection from the GPU, the VGA indicator remains on and a single line appears in the upper left corner of the screen. I've tried several solutions like re-seating the GPU, clearing CMOS, removing the CPU cooler, and verifying the CPU/mobo connections. I also moved the RAM sticks around (using one stick and two). I double-checked all cables connected to the PSU. I would appreciate any advice or fixes for this issue.

1x 6-Pin PCIe and 1x 8-Pin PCIe are linked to the GPU.

Thanks, I'll test it tomorrow after work and check the outcome. The correct PCIe cables are connected to both the GPU and the PSU. Since I only have a mouse and keyboard via a Bluetooth USB stick, will that cause any problems when trying to enter the BIOS during startup?

You're welcome, thank you! I believe you managed to remove the GPU and tried the SSD separately, but not both at once. You were able to boot up and enter BIOS to make an update. It's uncertain if it will work with the GPU yet since it's still updating, but I have good hopes.

It seems the GPU won't start but boots into BIOS without the SSD. Could the wrong BIOS version have been installed on your flash drive? The PCpartPicker indicates compatibility with BIOS version 7B51v15 for your motherboard, which you downloaded from MSI Cite.

If you manage to enter the BIOS without using the SSD, which BIOS version appears there? You can update the BIOS directly within the BIOS. The latest BIOS version available is 7B51v1E.

Have you installed Windows on this PC before, or are you attempting the installation now?

I actually managed to solve it, sorry for not replying earlier. I don't remember exactly what I did, but it seems it just began working and I ended up downloading Windows onto my USB drive. My first PC is now fully installed inside the case after a lot of effort. Thanks for all the assistance, sincerely.
