Hey guys,
I've been pushing my I5 4690k on the Asrock Z97 Pro 4 board and hit a strange issue. I managed to reach a steady speed of 4.4ghz (stock is 3.5) and 1.175v, but it feels too hot. I tried lowering it to 1.150 and used x264, Aida64, Prime 26.6, but it still didn’t work with newer Prime versions. The real problem is that the system won’t boot at any voltage between 1.150 and 1.175, like 1.165. That’s disappointing since I’m sure those settings would run smoothly on my H60 Corsair Watercooling setup. Any advice?
Thanks!

Resolved by enabling LLC calibration and applying a +0.4v offset to the chipset voltage (above Vcore); system started smoothly at 1.155v at Vcore.
