The USB drive isn't visible during startup.
I have a new USB drive that I use for software licenses, and it needs to be connected all the time . The problem is, when Windows 10 boots, the drive doesnt show in My Computer, but if I disconnect and reconnect it, it shows up fine.
Any idea how to stop this ?
I have another USB drive installed, called elicenser from Steinberg, and thats recognised all the time. This is a brand new USB 3 San disk Flair 16gb .
Thanks in advance.
It might be related to a specific USB port.
Occasionally, certain devices fail to recognize USB 3.0 at first.
Ah really ? It is USB 3. I've tried it in the back ports, the front panel and a USB 3 hub and on a fresh boot, (1st boot of the day) its not recognised, but once I take it out and put it back, its fine.
And if I restart the PC it works fine.
I guess there's nothing I can do for that ?
