I've experienced persistent problems with my PC's USB connections over time. It appears that excessive bandwidth usage across any USB ports causes the entire system to lose connection with all connected drives and peripherals. I've attempted to remove drivers via Device Manager and reinstall them using Windows Update, but no improvement has been made. I'm seeking guidance. My setup includes a TP Link Archer T4U USB 3.0 Wi-Fi dongle and several USB 3 portable hard drives. When I run the hard drives alongside a stable Wi-Fi download simultaneously, all my USB devices crash. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z270x-UD5 model. I also have a generic Anker USB 3.0 expansion card that fails consistently. I've even tested using only those USB ports, assuming the motherboard's USB buses might be faulty. I'm unsure what to try next.

It seems like your system is handling the chipset stress, but you’ve managed to run both HDDs and SSDs together without issues.

The system should adjust transfer speeds automatically rather than causing failures. I haven’t encountered this approach before setting up this build, and it’s been a challenge lately. Using USB connections has been minimal until recently.
