Suddenly one of the two 2.0 USB ports on my H510M board refused to accept my microphone. I switched to another port next to it and it functioned properly. Initially I assumed the other port was faulty, but after connecting my keyboard, mouse pad, and mouse it worked fine. The port seems to recognize them correctly. Why did my microphone stop working today? Also, whenever I open the sound settings and the recording tab connected to the problematic 2.0 port, the app freezes completely—closes after a minute or when I unplug my headphones. The sound works through that port, but the mic suddenly fails.
