I was compiling a parts list on pcpartpivjer and this alert kept appearing with nearly every component I selected. It mentioned the Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port, yet the Asus ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II ATX AM4 board lacks enough USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors. That means the case’s port won’t work with the motherboard. Here’s my setup for your reference: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8 GHz 8-core processor, NZXT Kraken Z73 RGB 52.44 CFM liquid cooler, Asus ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II ATX AM4 board, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (4x8 GB), Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVMe SSD, Samsung 870 QVO 2 TB 2.5" SSD, and the Corsair CXF 750W 80+ Bronze certified modular power supply.
According to PCPartPicker, your motherboard lacks sufficient USB 3.2 gen 1 connectors. Check the available USB headers on your motherboard since missing any of these will cause this issue. It seems the board does have at least one of these headers.
I checked the instructions on the website as if I were explaining it to someone else, and it looked correct unless visibility was an issue
