Hello, I own an x570 Aorus Ultra motherboard with a cooler master H500M case. Everything functioned properly until yesterday when I removed the USB 3.0 header from the case for cable organization. Afterward, the USB 3.0 port inside the case stopped working. I checked the MB USB 3.0 pins and everything seems fine, but the connection is now broken. The photo shows me disconnecting these three cables. What could be causing this issue?

I believe those pins weren't related to the issue. The HDD just sends a signal from the drive to the LED; reversing it won't affect anything. Were you removing the header when the PC was powered on? That could be the cause.

I won't need to know the reason for disconnecting the power switch. Please share a photo of the USB 3.0 connector on your board, whether it's with or without the cable connected.

Initially the device stopped when I unplugged it, and I was grounded too. On the second try I checked the connections and everything looked fine—the PC was powered on—but it still didn’t work. The issue had been there from the start.
