Insurgency often crashes for me. Sometimes I can play for an hour, other times only a few minutes. I assumed my graphics card (XFX R9 290) was overheating, but the max temperature reached was 81 degrees. I’m not sure what’s causing it… My system specs are listed in my profile, maybe that can help.
It seems the issue might be related to using multiple monitors, but I'm not sure. Have you checked for any system updates or changes in settings?

I already tried the first option, but it didn<|pad|>. I'll give it another shot after school today.
I also faced problems with the R9 290 from Gigabyte. I connected it via DisplayPort and HDMI, but using DVI triggered a severe blue screen. Driver issues were prominent—tried several drivers, including the 14.4 stable one, and noted both cards were faulty. I also experienced annoying audio glitches with two audio sources (TS and game) after installation. Insurgency worked briefly, but after about ten minutes (often using three screens), I encountered black screens again, also in other games. Some users suggest lowering the card’s clock speed to 100MHz for better stability, which might help now. The memory appears functional for both card types. I’d consider trying that adjustment and using different cables for the PCIe connector—preferably not the standard 8-6pin ones if the XFX version supports better connections. It could be related to power supply instability, as some reports mention voltage fluctuations causing the card to shut down. I switched to Nvidia because only the 290 models caused issues, and I’m hoping this resolved something. MfG Legion495
