Hello everyone. I’m used to helping with questions, but this one is tricky. I recently upgraded my system to a 4070/7800x3d setup and everything functioned smoothly. I ended up swapping the 7800x3d for another 7800x3d and the 4070 for another 4070, which gave me a significantly better offer from another supplier. So far, nothing’s wrong. The only thing that matters is that the build won’t power on at all. The motherboard lights up, so it seems the board is receiving power. I’ve tried several fixes: re-seating the CPU EPS power cable, reseating the RAM, rebooting without the GPU, resetting the CMOS on the switch, removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes, using a different outlet or power strip. Still, nothing works. What could be wrong? Is it possible the CPU is dead? Any idea what might prevent the system from starting?
