Hi, I’ve switched from a Ryzen 7 2700X to a Ryzen 5 3600X and encountered problems when trying to boot my motherboard. The VGA light appears and the system fails to start. I’m using the newest BIOS on my MSI Gaming Pro Carbon, but the issue persists after resetting CMOS and removing the graphics card. Anyone have any suggestions?

MSI made a mistake and took Zen 2 support out of a latest BIOS release. It might be worth looking at the BIOS version. A few users fixed it by going back.

The link has been corrected; it seems I overlooked a crucial segment earlier.

I attempted a single revision in the previous bios update, but the result remained unchanged.
