Hello, it's time to enhance my vintage setup. I'm running an i7 2600k, 1660Ti, and multiple SSDs. I'm evaluating the R5 3600, Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus, and G.Skill 3600 C16 2x16 to align with my current 1660Ti and storage solutions. The X570 motherboard costs about $40 more than a solid B450 board. I appreciate the 8x SATA ports even though I don't require PCIe 4, but I think it could boost overall data throughput. I'm looking for a versatile machine suited for gaming, Lightroom, video editing, and database tasks. The i7-2600k performed adequately, so I expect the 3600 to deliver solid performance at a more affordable price compared to the 3700x. That's just my early thoughts. Any feedback on this configuration? Thanks! Jim
