I’m considering purchasing it to test it out before the free trial expires on Steam. Would there be a single DLC available, or could there be multiple if necessary? I’d say it would significantly enhance the experience and make playing more engaging. Should I go ahead with the base game first to see how it feels, or should I invest in the full version right away?

I've noticed the base game is available for $5-6 during the sale this week—a solid offer if you're looking at it. The best DLCs right now are Mass Transit, Green Cities, and Industries. These releases happen occasionally.

Industries and Parklife are the key players reshaping the landscape. Mass Transit also makes a difference if you're into transport systems. Parklife introduces varied green spaces that get enhanced by Industrial developments and supply networks. I don’t own either, but I follow ConflictNerds on games like After Dark and Green Cities.
