I've noticed some blue screens recently, thinking they might be linked to the BIOS on my MOBO (MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS). It caused problems during initial installation. After updating the BIOS via USB, UEFI won't identify any drives as boot options. In the BIOS it shows storage exists but can't select any. I tried using CSM, where only one drive appears in Boot Priority—unlike CSM, it doesn’t recognize my main boot drive. The change from CSM to BIOS is that I can manually choose my NVME drive before entering BIOS. However, when I open BIOS, the only recognized drive is a non-boot device. Even after manually selecting my NVME drive (which needs several restarts), Windows resets settings on most apps to defaults. When I first installed this MOBO a few months ago, I faced a similar problem with drive recognition, but after BIOS flashing it seems to have worsened. This is the second time it's happened (I put my PC to sleep and the issue returned). I managed to boot into Windows, so I'm wondering if there are steps inside Windows to resolve this.
