It seems UBI has changed things but presented it as a minor update, which is disheartening for PC gamers who have to accept this clear sign of failure. In my view, they’re acting like energy companies—raising prices when costs drop and then pushing misleading info about expenses. UBI behaves similarly; you might buy an AC, experience the game’s flaws, and then accept their claims about its demands. Source: http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/assassi...-size.html

It seems I've gained some insight; it looks like updates are necessary for the games, requiring around 6.7GB to resolve several issues.

They're definitely working on it, man. If they hadn't tried, everyone would still be complaining about problems with the game. If it were on Steam, people would be celebrating their fixes.

It'll be a fun time with your 4Mb/s connection during those downloads!

They’d still grumble if the update were smaller and didn’t cover all the issues. It’s tough to satisfy everyone.

I concur, it isn't the first time a major update has been released for a game.

They acknowledged the issue was fixed. Perhaps I’ll take it and see how it works now.

I still have my doubts. If I owned the game, I wouldn’t be able to use the internet for a few hours—my downloads would stop because the connection drops while downloading, and it wouldn’t work for those with very slow connections or limited data. Also, 6.7GB is a big size for many users.

Would you prefer they don’t try to improve their game and then complain about it? -.-
