Hi, I received a new build PC and faced an issue where the VGA to HMDI cable didn’t display anything during the first boot. Initially, I thought it was a motherboard or CPU compatibility problem, so I upgraded the BIOS using BIOS Flashback with version TUF GAMING B450M-PRO II BIOS 3604. The display issue persisted. After trying another update, BIOS version 3802, the same problem continued—only the beep codes changed when powering on the PC (a long one followed by three short beeps). I’m seeking advice for my first low-end build and appreciate any suggestions. Can I downgrade the BIOS during an update? Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450M Pro II, CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, RAM: TForce Delta, ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance 8x2, 3200MHz, CL16 SSD, GPU: None, PSU: Corsair CX 550W 1L3SHORT.mp4

Yes, you can still use the same button to downgrade your BIOS, just as you do for updates.

They'll require a USB drive containing the BIOS files. Detailed guidance is available at the provided link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1038568/. It seems the flashback feature functions for both downgrading and upgrading, but it simply displays the BIOS version from the USB stick you supply: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.ph...grade-bios.

I also considered if there might be another stage involved, but I thought the factory BIOS could create a restore point to handle that. Useful to know.

If the long and short beeps persist, it could indicate a hardware issue rather than just a software problem. Check your CPU and motherboard for damage or proper functionality.
