It was actually incorrect. Those were just a few of the maps. The rest kept the expected 40 FPS, but I thought I was getting higher speeds.

The file downloaded correctly. Using the same installer didn’t cause issues. A computer shouldn’t be assumed to be faulty.

It might be that your clock and memory rates were adjusted to half their original values after installing the updated driver. This issue also occurs unexpectedly during driver installations for me.
