Hello! My brother tried to play FarCry 3 on his computer, but with a low-end HD 5450 it only managed 24 frames per second. After using the AMD Gaming Evolved app for optimization, they changed settings like resolution, shadows, and post-processing to medium levels. The result was only about 4 FPS. I’m wondering why the app isn’t working well—could be a problem with the app itself or the settings chosen. Please let me know if you need more help!

It seems the app adjusts based on others' settings for each game, updating them collectively. It might always aim for the highest resolution, so reducing it manually could help.

it’s likely his graphics card is very weak, causing the program to crash entirely.

The system struggles because few users run FC3 with Raptr, leaving it without a clear reference. It relies on gathered data, but without relevant examples, it can't function effectively. It's not magic—it just doesn't have enough information to proceed.

The GPU simply can't handle FarCry 3 well, especially after optimization. Running it at lower settings and 720p might be a better option. The app itself isn't great—my previous try wasn't too bad, but overall it's not recommended.

The issue lies elsewhere, not with the app itself. It seems to be connected to your friends' POTATO GPU.

That sounds like a fun deal—34 bucks for a toaster strudel. Don’t waste it on games; grab a GTX 750 for $100.
