The game received a recent patch today, and I increased the graphics settings to test improvements. It’s performing smoothly now. I’m using uplay in offline mode, but I’m not sure if that’s the reason for the better results. Anyone else experiencing enhanced performance after the update or offline play?
Honestly, since that messed-up oversight, I’ve stopped caring about Ubisoft and their poorly made titles with day-one expansions. I won’t invest in another of their games until they actually improve things and stop trying to cover up their mistakes while making things worse.
My most recent purchase from Ubisoft was Far Cry 2. I plan to maintain that choice moving forward.
Despite my strong dislike for Ubisoft and the regret over pre-ordering this title, I remain a fan of the series. I still want to play the game I invested in, even though I don’t want my money to be wasted. Logically, I’d like to fix things and actually enjoy the game. Hating them won’t solve my issue.
