Hi,
I need your help—I just started building this water loop. I used copper blocks with nickel plating, brass fittings, a copper radiator, and PVC soft tubing. I only used distilled water without any additives. Any suggestions on what might be happening? Also, I can peel the yellow residue from inside the tube, but it still looks cloudy. Here’s a picture before and after.

Always use an anti corrosion and growth inhibitor. Change fluids every 1 to 2 years based on your needs. I wouldn't recommend that tubing if you were handling it. If it's damaged, it's likely bad and you'll just be creating more work for yourself. You'll need to take apart the entire loop and thoroughly clean everything—rings, pump, seals, blocks, etc.—removing any leaking plasticizer. Check page 2 of this article to learn about plasticizer: http://www.xtremerigs.net/2016/02/05/ext...ng-test/2/ Also consider using both tubes from the test instead of just the "no brand" Chinese tube.

Only distilled water???
So you mean to say you dont have any
anti corrosion
or
algae growth inhibitors
in the loop??
Well that is fault number 1.
And by doing that fault I am pretty sure you did not clean or flush your radiator(s) or cleaned the blocks..
If so that is fault number 2.
And when you use soft tubing make sure the tube is made to use in the water cooling loop. Many soft tubes are not and they will start to leak plasticizer into the loop. Causing blocks, rads to gunk up. And the tubes will "fog" up cause of it.
Overall it seems to me that you jumped off the deep end without doing enough reading and learning about PC Custom water loops...

Only distilled water? So you're implying there are no anti-corrosion or algae growth inhibitors in the loop? Well that’s the first issue. And by making that assumption, I’m pretty sure you didn’t clean or flush your radiators or cleaned the blocks. If that’s the case, that’s the second problem. Also, when using soft tubing, make sure it’s designed for the water cooling loop. Many soft tubes aren’t suitable and can start leaking plasticizers into the loop, leading to blockages and tubes fogging up. Overall, it seems you skipped the necessary research on PC Custom water loops. Thanks for your reply. I’ve always used warm distilled water before using them multiple times. The tubes come from a Chinese eBay seller—could they have been left in the sun? Or are they just old? Or do you think it’s because I didn’t add any additives? Anyway, I’m planning to use PrimoChill Liquid Utopia – 15ml Bottle. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CDXQ22M/ref...yAbDQTR44N With the same tubes. I have extra for two meters. If it turns yellow again, then it’s a bad tube. Excuse my bad English.
