Hi guys, I’m trying to boost my CPU performance since it has a cooler already. I’m curious about the best software options for this task. My setup includes: Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler, Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 6 Motherboard, Intel Core i7 6700K, G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3000C15Q-32GTZR 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4, Samsung 840 EVO Series 750GB SSD, ASUS PG279Q ROG Swift 27in 165Hz G-Sync IPS Gaming Monitor, and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition 11GB. I’d appreciate recommendations on the most suitable software for safely overclocking from a desktop perspective, and if you’re willing, details on safe overclock limits would be great.

Someone named Britney Amber is asking for advice on overclocking. They want a clear guide, preferably in video format that explains each step. They also mention needing help with their motherboard and are concerned about the risks involved. They are looking for someone to share detailed instructions.

Usually overclocking is handled via your BIOS, not a Windows program. (I'm aware of this.) The only GPU overclocking tool I'm familiar with is MSi Afterburner, which runs in the Windows environment and is limited to your specific graphics card.

Consider using Easy tune if your motherboard includes it and you want to boost your CPU performance.

It's usually better to adjust the BIOS and OC the CPU, but you can also easily change the GPU settings with software.
