Lightworks could be an option, but it depends on the editing style you're aiming for. Movie Maker still works well for what I previously relied on.

I previously used Sony Vegas Studio—it's really user-friendly and a solid base for more advanced projects. If you're interested, it's only around $90 or less if you decide to purchase it.
