The first-person shooter series began in the 90s and now dominates video gaming. Many standout titles emerged, while others fell short. My top recommendations include Halo combat evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, COD 4, Half life, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and more. What’s your opinion on the greatest FPS game of all time?
Counter Strike is a solid choice. While I generally prefer other genres, I appreciate this one.
Personally, the best FPS experience was playing COD Black Ops. Maybe I’ll get some criticism for this choice, but it’s mainly because of who I played with. I haven’t had more enjoyment in any FPS since then. Sadly, the friends I played with back have mostly moved on from gaming. One of us went to PC, two others switched to PS4, and the last one still plays on a 360 with a few pals—no plans to upgrade anytime soon.
I've tried several titles, but BF2 stands out as a top choice for me, while CS is my preferred option.
