I wouldn't call it "unbeatable," since several carbines and assault rifles can outperform it at close range. However, I concur that the ACW-R doesn't have anything "moderate" in terms of close-quarters effectiveness—it's a solid weapon overall.

As other has said the ACW-R is amazing, High rate of fire with very fast reload speed, its hard to beat that. Basicly if it has a rate of fire of 800rpm or higher it probably a really good gun (there's also a few guns with 750-770 rate of fire that a top notch too). Though the Scar-H, Bulldog are pretty fast killing guns with their higher dmg model (but slower rate of fire).
