I’m thinking about trying a single-player experience similar to AC but without knowing which one to buy. I’ve only played Black Flag and a bit of Unity because I didn’t enjoy it. Looking for the top single-player game on Steam that offers a fun, engaging experience would be ideal.

Everyone recognizes Ezio Auditore as the top assassin in Assassin's Creed 2. However, using the game on a computer requires you to have UPlay installed.

I mostly played Black Flag and I was really moved by the story. Video games usually don’t make me cry, but this one did.

In my opinion, Assassin's Creed 2 and Black Flag stand out within the series. Despite some issues with performance and bugs, Unity can be impressively smooth at times.
