I’m looking forward to setting up a gaming PC and want to know which lightweight antivirus would work best for me.

Be careful with the links you click. Avoid suspicious websites and stick to trusted sources. Think before you act.

They approved the combo package, including Microsoft security essentials (free with Windows), strong anti-spyware protection (free version), and Malwarebytes anti-malware (free version). Apply these updates and stay safe online—avoid excessive browsing. I regularly check my Windows machines with the anti-spyware tool weekly and run scans monthly if needed. Edit: these are essential if you're using them, as traditional antivirus is now largely ineffective; viruses are rare compared to the past.
