Hey everyone, I'm trying to link all my peripherals—headphones, mouse, keyboard, and two monitors—to my Dell WD19TB Thunderbolt dock. My aim is to have the same dock connected to either my work M1 Pro or my home PC for easy switching. The setup includes a display port monitor and a USB-C/HDMI monitor; the latter didn't work with my Mac. Once I fixed it on Mac, the PC still doesn't recognize the monitors unless they're directly linked to the graphics card. Other devices work fine on my PC. I've adjusted Thunderbolt settings in BIOS, but nothing seems to be missing. I have an ASRock Z790 Taichi and a 7900XTX. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I believe PCs include a Thunderbolt application. You might want to look for it and adjust any necessary settings.
Your motherboard includes a Thunderbolt port. It also supports GPU pass-through and has internal connectors for video transmission. Older models sometimes used display port headers to route video through the Thunderbolt interface. For video over Thunderbolt, the graphics card must connect to the Thunderbolt controller.
Ensure the DP cable is properly linked to the graphics card. Check for any additional settings or drivers required for HDMI over USB-C.
