I recently shared my experience with a problem I encountered after buying a refurbished L13 Yoga. The main issue was that the screen would sometimes remain completely black when the laptop woke up from sleep mode. Over time, the problem worsened, and the laptop began to "glitch" even after it was successfully powered on. These issues typically happen during startup, when waking from sleep, or within the first 1-2 minutes after turning on. Outside of that, the device works quite reliably. I ran a stress test using 3Dmark and received a 90% score, which makes me unsure if the problem lies with the integrated GPU, the display, or something else entirely. I’ve already checked for the latest Lenovo System Update and drivers, but nothing resolved it. Have others faced similar problems? Were you able to fix it yourself or did you need to send it in for repair? 20240726_140703.mp4

It doesn't affect performance much, but it seems like a VRAM problem.

It might relate to the display cable, though the time-based issues suggest a GPU or VRAM problem. It’s possible the warranty for the refurbished version is limited. Please get it quickly since they often run out fast.

It won't be something I can handle by myself, will it? I think I'll pass it to Lenovo because the device still has a two-year warranty, as stated on their support page. Just wish they don't factory reset it.

Most probably hardware issues. Backup everything thoroughly—clearing or restoring it is usually their initial action, and you’d typically handle it yourself before they receive the final confirmation, preventing them from accessing your data.

Under this discussion, can we find a method to duplicate the SSD from this laptop and then transfer it to the new or repaired unit so your configurations remain consistent?

You can generate a picture of it and then reinstate it on the replacement, right?

Certainly! Creating a system image using Windows' 'Backup and Restore' tool on an external drive ensures your files, settings, and configurations remain unchanged, preserving everything as it was before.

I wouldn't choose that option; a third-party tool works better, while the built-in Windows version tends to be inconsistent.

No specific program is needed if you're new to creating images—start with user-friendly tools like Canva, Figma, or even mobile apps such as Adobe Express.
