I understand your situation, but I want to avoid reinstalling everything again. The initial problem was that downloaded packages weren’t visible anywhere except in the file manager, and neither the preinstalled manager nor the terminal could locate them. Using the snap package resolved this completely, though it seems the issue has resurfaced later. Long story short, would it be possible to run the client as a service instead? Updated: After searching through the files, I found the right directory and it now works.
Well, at least this part is working. Still missing the "send" command and options like pause, unpause, finish. I don’t recognize where they’re stored—it just gives an "invalid argument" when I try to use them. Also, it says FAHClient isn’t running, which is confusing since it’s been processing WUs for about two days already.
Are you worried about losing the work you’ve started? It’s still in progress now and will likely take most of the rest of the day. Also, I’m sorry for the delayed reply—I was already exhausted and the VGA screen on one monitor refused to show anything when I opened it.
Yes, your credit for the completed WU will remain valid and won't be removed.
I attempted once more today, but it failed. Journalctl -xe now shows a different outcome. I corrected it; while downloading files from that massive list, I unknowingly downloaded an outdated version of containerd.io. Once updated, everything seems fine. Mostly. During the process, I tried to install F@H manually—everything functions correctly, including the commands. However, FAHControl still doesn't install properly due to missing dependencies I attempted to retrieve from a guide on the folding forum. I can’t download those files, and I’m encountering a 404 error when trying to fetch the last two items. Edit 2: The operating system crashed completely; I had to reinstall it. That was a setback. But now FAHClient is back, even though I can only control it through a minimal web interface and command line.
