Windows 10's Disk Cleanup lists temporary files as safe to remove, including the 6 GB you mentioned. Cleaning this should not cause issues. Using Disk Cleanup with an SSD is generally safe and recommended.

It seems like you're concerned about potential issues with cached content affecting performance. You mentioned it might be okay if nothing important is stored there, but it's always wise to double-check.

Cleanup mainly involves removing files you don’t need. Internet storage options may differ, so there are choices to review before deciding.

Disk cleanup removes only the files you don’t need. 'Temporary Internet Files' mainly consist of images, HTML and CSS that your browser fetches while browsing. Your browser cache works independently (Tedster). Without regularly clearing these, they can accumulate rapidly into a large volume—potentially reaching something like 6GB. You’re welcome to remove them, they serve no purpose.
