I'm running Uncharted 4 on a 3060 Ti and an i7 9700k with 32GB RAM. The i7 has been working harder than some other titles, but the temperatures look okay. I made sure the shader cache finished before starting the game. The cooling setup includes a Noctua U12s Chromax fan at stock speed, 3600MHz RAM, and the motherboard settings have Asus MCE turned off, with VCCI and VCSAA below 1.2v. Also, the room temperature is around 28°C according to my thermostat.
Looks like you're asking about something interesting. What's the coolest thing you're using?
At 28°C room conditions, those CPU temperatures seem perfectly acceptable.
You're new to this? I just started the game and played it for the first time after installing. The CPU is handling shader creation, which explains the high CPU usage. After about 45 minutes, it's still running around 20-40% as usual.
I paused the game to install shaders during the main menu. I only resumed once the shader cache was ready, which should mean lower CPU demand.
I wouldn't be concerned about it. Your performance remains under 85*c even at 28*c ambient, which feels solid for a player in my Australian region. Many modern game engines (including their ported versions) support 4 to 8 threads, so high CPU usage in various PC titles or ports with an 8-core/8-thread processor isn't necessarily an issue.
