You're thinking carefully about the voltage and long-term effects. It's smart to verify before making changes. The thermal limit of 125°C is noted, so you're on the right track. Just make sure your setup matches that spec to avoid issues.

Laptop chips tend to keep running until they slow down. It's okay to test lower voltages if you're willing to risk possible stability problems. The recommended maximum temperature is 100°C as per AMD.

These readings are from during gameplay? Hmm, looks like this is probably a notebook.

Zen4 is built to operate at 95°C continuously, which shouldn't cause problems, particularly in a laptop under stress.

It's a bit warm, but that's fine.

I understand well enough, though my previous LENOVO with an i5 hits around 75°C—it's a "u" model after all... Stability is exactly what I'm after, knowing PBO can be tricky. I attempted to cap the CPU at 55W in Armoury Crate, but it didn’t really help with temperature management (still spikes up to 80°C on the desktop). Yes, the max operating temp is 100°C, and the temperature limit is set at 125°C. It didn’t throttle at 99°C, so technically it seems fine. Actually, it’s not consistently at 99°C—more often around 85-95°C. And the CPU usage is probably low, about 30% at most. For now, I don’t think I’ll go underdrift unless it gets really hot in summer.

This indicates that just 30% of the available resources are being used across all 16 cores and 32 threads.

I understand that. This can reach quite a high level!
