I attempted to load the crew on Steam and received The Crew (content remains encrypted). Nearby it indicates The crew Pre-load is disabled. Do you think others on Steam face similar issues, but your playstation doesn’t?

Absolutely, that's what I think. It seems Ubisoft might be planning another delay and they're skipping the suspension step, which could let fans pre-download the game beforehand.

It seems all its titles are removed from Steam UK, so they can no longer be bought. Rumors suggest Ubi may ask Steam users to link their keys via Uplay before playing. This remains unconfirmed gossip.
