I'm going to keep it short. I've mentioned this before on various sites (ubi support :/). I tried the crew a while back. First, I received a demo version of calling all units. Then I downloaded ubi30 and now have another demo version. The desktop icon handles calling all units, the menu does too, but it keeps asking. How do I stop it? I thought I got the base game for free, why is this happening? Anyone else see this issue? P.S.: Sorry I got frustrated, it was getting worse. By the way, press clear and type in calling all units. It's kind of wild.

They aim to encourage purchases by offering all units as DLC, providing the base game at no cost, and needing a way to generate revenue.

I also received the free edition Ubisoft distributed during its 30-year celebration, even though the splash screen, title screen, and icon suggest it's merely the core version of the game.

That’s definitely the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had as a developer. I won’t be purchasing any more Ubisoft titles. It’s insane—they’re doing something far worse than Win Rar and the license pop-ups. I thought it was just a glitch or a purchase error, but now I’m shocked at how much effort they put into extracting money from players. If I’d bought the base game, would I have noticed this too? If not, I’m done with Uplay. I already own a few games there, but if they keep using such sneaky tactics, I’ll uninstall it completely and never look back at that app again. Let me just blame Ubisoft for this mess.

I'm sorry to let you down, but this situation happens often. Ubisoft isn't the only one trying to sell its product. People get frustrated for various reasons, so try playing the game and skip the annoying messages if you like it. It's easy to do.
