GPUs come preconfigured, I’ll attempt to turn off the turbo on my CPU using realtemp to ensure it runs at stock performance and observe the results.

I just tested it again and it still works at 100%. I'm not sure why it behaved differently the last time I played it a few months ago.

Turning off turbo actually restores your CPU to its original performance settings. I wasn’t aware of that.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been a bit swamped. Yes, the setup of my OC involves changing the turbo clocks instead of the stock ones, which means turning off turbo also turns off my overclock.
