The taskbar is acting oddly!
Windows 10 Pro Version: 2004 Build: 19041.172 Over the last two weeks the taskbar has acted strangely. No actions occur when I click or drag to any of these elements: Taskbar icons (right-click only doesn't work), Volume Button (left-click only doesn't work), Networks Button (left-click only doesn't work), Time & Date Button (left-click only doesn't work), Action Center (left-click only doesn't work). I can still open the settings by right-clicking anywhere on the taskbar. Please see this video to understand what I mean. I haven’t detected any system integrity issues. Kindly recommend a fix other than reinstalling Windows.
It's the familiar Net Speed Monitor that's been my dependable method for testing internet performance, widely trusted by many users. This isn't the first time it's happened, yet the timing is puzzling. No one knows what might be causing this change.
Oh my Lord! Apologies for the mistake—I was too busy with a household task. You're right, it's a complicated situation. I've already stopped using Insider Builds, but it seems my OS hasn't reverted to the latest stable version. Could something be wrong with the KMS activation or the Slow Ring setting? Please check my Microsoft account and let me know what I'm seeing. Thanks!
It's best to avoid using a KMS install for insider builds. They need full telemetry enabled, which some systems may have already disabled by KMS. Even if not, Microsoft now recognizes KMS usage. Skip it altogether and opt for a cheaper key instead. Insider builds can't be undone—wiping and reinstalling from the start is risky.
You should look into purchasing it from a reputable source. Its low price often comes with significant risks. It might not unlock the full Windows 10 Pro features you expect. Using cracked applications can be convenient now, but they may not function as intended or could pose security issues. I’ve heard similar concerns before, so it’s wise to understand what’s included in such offers. This wasn’t my first experience with cheap keys, and I want to be fully informed about any limitations.
Because I’m completely unfamiliar with the issue and have never encountered anything like it before. Also, my suggestion from my initial message was to attempt removing the net monitor software just in case it leads to unexpected behavior with a possibly faulty internal setup.
