Looking for your take on a solid framerate for GTA 5? That’ll definitely assist you in picking between the 970 and 280 options.

Around 60 and above, especially from 45 onward, is generally manageable for many players.

69fps is fine for me, though I see a lot of folks prefer 60 or higher. Plus, it makes sense to lower the settings for smoother 60fps. @PierreCCesario remember to stick to your topics!

Games over 45.3 tend to be more forgiving. Anyone else experience intense emotional reactions?

If the frame rate is below 50fps, I won't have a good time. It works but isn't fun.

You're being unfair for playing at 60+ frames per second while I'm stuck at 29.5.

Playable as long as it stays above 35-40, it's fine. You're more concerned with a steady FPS than anything else, since the fluctuations are what stand out. For me, I lower the settings to maintain around 50-60FPS consistently (GSync), so no noticeable drops. Without GSync I'd aim for 60 or higher.

Over sixty counts as okay. Anything under that is not suitable for a PC game.
