The maximum number of ISO files is not limited by the alphabet or other drives. You can mount as many as your system supports, though practical limits depend on storage space and file system constraints.

It's 24. The system is constrained by the alphabet, with A and B reserved for floppy drives. 24 also encompasses your C drive and any other mounted partitions. However, there are methods to mount drives to directories on an NTFS volume, similar to what you do in Linux. There’s a stack overflow discussion that could be relevant if you wish to explore beyond 24.
