I just wrapped up streaming, left my PC for dinner, and came back to see it had rebooted. When I opened Event Viewer, I noticed several system logs indicating a crash. I’m confused about what caused it and don’t understand the details. I’m reaching out for help to figure this out. For reference, I’ve attached three text files with the relevant error messages from Event Viewer: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power.txt, Microsoft-Windows-WHEA-Logger.txt, and Miscrosoft Windows Kernel-PnP.txt.
The computer shut down due to a BSOD that occurred unexpectedly. Such crashes are not uncommon, and most are minor issues deep within the operating system or hardware that can't be fixed. Problems do arise occasionally. You were probably just unlucky today, but they will likely reappear in the coming days with updated logs.
No problem, issues arise. You have nothing to fix. Please return whenever this repeats within the next few days with fresh log files.
It occurred once more and Windows indicated a power loss problem, despite having a backup battery and all fans operating. My screens, keyboard, and mouse appeared dark, while the LED indicators on the motherboard, RAM, and CPU cooler switched to auto "RGB" mode. The attached logs provide details. Additionally, I observed that after updating my AMD drivers, the system generated the "AMD Ryzen Power Plan," which I typically don’t use and usually rely on the standard Windows "balanced" plan. I’m unsure if this is the root cause, but it seems to be a pattern I’ve noticed. The relevant files are listed below.
Event viewer records can help guide troubleshooting, but if you're encountering BSoDs, those crash files are much more helpful for identifying the issue. Locate all the crash dump files and share them here. https://www.windows10forums.com/articles...ows-10.50/ @Nathanpete Appreciate it, let's see what we can determine.
The issue often stems from limited energy supply, with one device consuming excessive power and preventing performance. How many USB devices are currently connected?
