So far, I've assembled a new gaming PC with the Ryzen 7 7700X, a Gigabyte X670 X-AX motherboard, and a 32GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 is installed, and I've been using the Intel Iris Xe GPU until the card arrives. Currently, I'm experiencing blue screens whenever I perform any actions in Windows. In other cases, I see stuttering or blackouts, followed by a black wallpaper. My mouse also behaves erratically, sometimes freezing completely. I've tried switching RAM sticks, disabling XMP settings, updating the BIOS, creating a fresh installation, running MemTest86, and even using a different GPU output. All tests so far show no errors, but the system remains unstable. The blue screen appears consistently when using the Intel Iris Xe card.

Try launching Linux to eliminate a Windows issue, then examine the Event Viewer for any warnings.

I'm experiencing issues on Linux Mint as well. The time zone selection kept failing because it was blacked out, forcing me to log in again. Before the black screen would appear, I couldn't click anything, and then my cursor would move unexpectedly. This happened the same in Windows too.

Sure, I'll see what I can do. If that doesn't resolve the issue, I recommend sending a return merchandise authorization for your motherboard or CPU.

The glitched BSOD display is merely a Windows glitch that may occur with monitors having resolutions above 1080p. It doesn’t connect to the crash cause directly. The Hypervisor_Error label isn’t very revealing without dump files, which can stem from various sources. A common culprit is CPU problems. Can you retrieve the dump files from Linux? Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump and verify the presence of any minidump files. If available, return to your Windows directory and move the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (or use your desktop if OneDrive isn’t syncing). Compress the moved folder and share it via a post.
