You recently put in a new AMD CPU fan and cleaned the paste, which caused your PC to reset when you turned it on. Initially, Windows prompted that the pin code needed resetting. After checking the BIOS, it confirmed the reset was successful. Everything now works fine with XMP settings and other configurations. This unexpected reset might be due to the fan installation or BIOS update interfering. Be cautious of potential side effects like system instability if not properly configured.

Is there a chance it occurs after turning off the power for a short time? If yes, change the CMOS battery and check if it makes a difference.
