I’m confident it’s you who’s the admin since no one else is accessing your PC and there are no other accounts linked. Why are you getting blocked? How can I help resolve this issue?

You haven’t changed the catroot or catroot2 directories in your Windows setup to attempt a reset of the update system. The same warning kept appearing until you restored those folders.

You seem uncertain—likely the problem isn't there.

Verify if your disk management is restricted. Alternatively, consider tools such as MiniTool Partition Wizard for assistance.

This doesn't imply anything since viruses aim to prevent access to certain programs and no antivirus can identify 100% of threats in real-world scenarios. Another observation is that the publisher of the blocked app was listed as unknown, which could be misleading—Microsoft Corporation should appear instead, suggesting possible tampering. Just destroy the drive from space and reinstall the operating system. That’s the only certainty the threat is truly removed.

It's time to upgrade to an SSD since I rely on HDDs as my main boot drive.
