It might be due to a GPU spike that exceeds the PSU capacity, though it's hard to confirm. Use two different PCIe cables instead of one with the pigtail for the GPU power connection. Also, try setting the maximum GPU power to around 250W and see if it resolves the issue.

Hey! I see you're having FPS problems with your setup. To reduce GPU power usage, try adjusting your power settings or using a power manager. Let me know if you need more details!

Set up MSI Afterburner, it features a maximum power control, adjusted in percentage relative to 320W for the 3080 graphics card.

It looks like the setup is functioning, which is unusual. I’ll need to upgrade my power supply then! Thanks for the quick reply!

It's a recognized problem with the latest cards, they often cause power spikes close to 200%. Some older PSUs can't handle it and shut down, which stops the system. You won’t be able to restart, and the PSU will cut off for a few minutes. A stronger PSU is recommended—Corsair RMx850 or better works well with my 5900X and 3080.

Also think about improving the CPU; the 2700X limits performance compared to the 3080. Upgrade to a Ryzzen 5700X, and once you have the 5600 without extra modules.
